Togu Audio Line has released TAL-DUB-II, an extended version of TAL-Dub (vintage style delay effect) with a completely new sound engine.

A 4x oversampled distortion stage allows to add vintage distortion to the delayed signal, but its also possible to make clean delays. A sinus LFO has the possibility to modulate delay time and low pass filter cutoff. Adjustable LFO stereo width is also included. An analog sounding 6dB low pass filter with resonance and a 3dB high cut filter are also parts of TAL-DUB-II. Different routing options open a wide range of possibilities.

TAL-DUB-II features

  • Synced delay times (1/16, 1/8, 1/4, 1/2, 1/1, 2/1 and trippled and dotted notes).
  • 4x oversampled distortion stage.
  • VU-Meter shows gain reduction.
  • LFO (low pass cutoff and delay modulation, stereo width).
  • 6dB resonance low pass filter.
  • 3dB high pass filter.
  • Midi learn for all pots.

Screaming Bee releases MorphVOX Pro 4.0

Screaming Bee has released MorphVOX Pro 4.0, an application for high-quality voice modification to online games, instant messaging, and the multimedia studio.

The new version sports an enhanced professional user interface, extended file format support and an extensible plug-in architecture.

“MorphVOX Pro again sets the standards for voice-changing software,” explains Mark Ramirez, CEO of Screaming Bee. He adds, “The new user interface will greatly improve productivity through ease-of-use and better accessibility. We’ve also added an assortment of features such as extended file-format support, easy management of voices, and the ability to add professional-grade plug-ins to the application.”

Changes in MorphVOX Pro 4.0

  • Completely redesigned user interface with user-accessibility in mind. The all-in-one graphics interface simplifies the workflow for voice manipulation. The “Studio Mode” setting puts all the major voice controls in a single resizable window, boosting user productivity.
  • Import many more file formats, including Wave (.wav), Ogg Vorbis (.ogg), MP3 (.mp3), and Windows Media Formats (.wma).
  • Add professional-grade plug-in applications to the program. This includes the recently released Batch Converter Plug-in that allows morphing of multiple files at one time. Future modules can be added to MorphVOX Pro using the same plug-in architecture.
  • Better management of the growing list of voices and sound effects with the Add-On Manager and Favorites Lists. Users can also back up all settings in MorphVOX to a single file, providing data security and archiving capabilities.

MorphVOX Pro Voice Changer is available for Windows PC and costs $39.95 USD. A demo version can be downloaded from the product page.

Ueberschall announces Trance ID 2 remix contest

Ueberschall Trance ID 2 remix contest

Ueberschall and Time Unlimited are launching their “Trance ID 2″ remix contest.

Any remixes which are based on Mike Koglins sample kit “Antidote” from “Trance ID 2″ can enter the competition. The kit may be downloaded free of charge from a number of portals such as www.ueberschall.com and www.timeunlimited.de.

The Jury consists of course of the four international producers who have provided the construction kits on “Trance ID 2″: Mike Koglin (Noys Music), Darren Tate (Mondo Records), Mark Pledger (Anjunabeats) and Marc Steinmeier (Time Unlimited).

The contest will show the wide spectrum of styles and the possibilities “Trance ID 2″ has to offer. We are very excited to hear the various creative ideas the contest participants will send to us.
