Acousticsamples recently released Bassysm-J, a sample library featuring a four string MusicMan Stingray bass.

Bassysm-J features

  • A four strings Musicman Stingray bass with roundwound strings recorded at 24bits 44.1khz from the direct output and a tube preamp.
  • 1.42GB sample bank, no loops.
  • 11 velocity layers for the sustain, 15 velocities for the release.
  • Additional string noises and fret noises played randomly.
  • Multi velocity Ghost notes (from 15 to 24) and harmonics samples.
  • Smart hammering and slide modes to play it just at the speed you need.
  • Uses Kontakt scripts for hammers, slides, open strings, noises levels, release level.
  • Really easy to play on a keyboard or even to program on a sequencer.

Bassysm-J is available in Kontakt 2 format (Kontakt 3 compatible) for 39 EUR.
