Arksun-Sound has announced the release of the Dune 2 Arksun soundset, a collection of 128 patches for the Dune 2 synthesizer by Synapse Audio.
Dune 2, created by Synapse Audio, is a very rich warm sounding synth with gorgeous filters for low cpu hit. I had a lot of fun exploring both these filters and the wavetables on offer to create some interesting textures.
Main focus was on making very keyboard playable sounds to use in your mixes rather than too many one-note-wonders. As always, giving the Arksun signature sound to filmscores, ambient chillout and dance music.
The soundset is on sale for the intro price of £15 GBP until August 31st, 2017 (regular £20 GBP). A free demo bank with 16 presets is available for download. The soundset requires Dune 2 version 2.5 or higher.
