Atom Splitter Audio has released Forma-8, a free formant filter effect plug-in for Windows PC.

Forma-8 can morph between vowels using 4 corners of a XY pad. This allows for you to make a range of human sounding effects on whatever you are applying it to.

Forma-8 features

• XP pad to morph between 4 vowels.
• Spoken and sung types, male/female genders for broad range of sweeping formant filters.
• Modulation knob which allows you to mix in the amount used (this can make shaking gated effect as it modulates the internal filters).
• Resonance and mix controls.
