Camel Audio has updated Alchemy Mobile, a free iOS app that turns your iPhone/iPad into a powerful synthesizer.
The free version now offers greater expression with velocity sensitivity and the ability to sweep the filter on each note by sliding your finger up and down the key. Support for Sonoma AudioCopy/AudioPaste has also been added to make working with other music Apps easier than ever.
The Pro Upgrade now includes many new features, including Virtual MIDI which allows you to control Alchemy from other Apps such as SoundPrism Pro, project saving so you can recall your song sketches, and WAV and MIDI export to make it easy to bring your song ideas to the desktop. It also lets you intuitively pitchbend by sliding your fingers left and right on the keyboard, which makes it possible to create even more expressive performances. Three new mobile Sound Libraries have been released as well – Dubstep, Guitar Mutations and
Dance & Trance. These are available as in-App purchases for $4.99 USD / 3.99 EUR / £2.99 GBP each.
