Bjulin Waves has released Caractère, a soundset featuring 72 presets for the Zebra 2 synthesizer instrument from u-he.
Digital tones, organic character, lots of distortive treatment – That´s what Caractère is all about.
With the introduction of the distortion unit in Zebra 2, U-he opened up a whole new world of sounds, created by this fabulous synth. I thought, “why not make a soundset, that reflects all those new possibilities” – and this is what happened.
You will find subtle tube distortion on emotional keys and pads, heavy basses and leads, alien world atmospheres and transitional effects as well as inspiring arps.
Of course, ModWheel is assigned on every preset as well as aftertouch assignements where useful.
