Casio calculators, who doesn’t have one?
Casio, Inc. and its parent company Casio Computer Co. Ltd., announced today that one billion electronic Casio calculators have been sold worldwide. The company’s first electronic calculator – the 001, went on sale in 1965, and the company just passed the one billion mark at the end of December.
When I went to high school it was actually mandatory to get one of those scientific calculators and if my memory serves me right I think Casio was about the only brand allowed at the time.
So I have some Casio calculators (various fx models) as well. (Not that I use them anymore, since I use the PC for the basic calculation needs I have.)
