D16 Group updates Toraverb to v1.2
D16 Group has released version 1.2 of Toraverb, a reverb effect plug-in for Windows and Mac.
When creating Toraverb, we did not base it on any current reverb unit available in the market. We did not implement any “off-the-shelf” algorithm. Toraverb is not a classic type reverb unit like spring, room, hall or plate. Toraverb is a concept algorithm reverb. Using a set of easily accessible parameters, it allows the user to create practically ANY type of reverb.
Our goal was to create a reverb which would sound pleasant to the listener and the output could be tweaked in many different ways by the user.
Changes in Toraverb v1.0.1:
- Fixed compatibility with Snow Leopard (Mac OS X 10.6.x).
- Improved performance (CPU usage decreased by 10-20%).
- Other bugs fixed (preset name keyboard focus, VU meters animation, working with other D16 plug-ins simultaneously on Mac OS).
Toraverb for PC and Mac (VST/AU) is available to purchase for 17.50 EUR until December 1, 2009 (regular price 35 EUR). All other D16 plug-ins and bundles are currently available at 50% discount as well.
