Digg 3.0 will launch Monday (June 26)
In case you’re wondering what Digg is:
Digg is a technology news website that employs non-hierarchical editorial control. With digg, users submit stories for review, but rather than allowing an editor to decide which stories go on the homepage, the users do.
The new Digg will include a redesign, new categories (including technology, entertainment, gaming, science, world & business, and online video). Users will be able to refine what they see on the home page.
Other changes include a more extensive filtering of stories, i.e. just see stories dugg by more than one friend.
Digg has about 800,000 unique visitors every day (9 million plus page views), and site traffic is doubling every two months. Definately one of the biggest in it’s game.
So be sure to check out the new Digg on Monday!
