Espertone Neochip v0.8b

Expertone has released public beta v0.8b of Neochip, a subtractive synth emulating the 2A03 chip used in the Nintendo Entertainment System with an additional effects chain which allows you craft more modern sounds.

Neochip is best suited to creating deep grimey basslines and bold retro stlye leads and pads.

Features

  • 3 Osc (Pulse 1, Pulse 2, Triangle) with ADSR and Cycle controls
  • Vibrato for each osc (sharp, fade 1, fade 2, delay) with delay, size and speed controls
  • Filter, Reverb and Delay effects
  • 32 presets

You can download Neochip from Box.net.

Neochip’s developer Julian Harding is a member of Neogear. Some of the tracks on their MySpace page also use (an older version of) Neochip.
