Fingerpushers has announced the release of Sampler Anthology 909, a new sound library focusing on bringing back the sound of old hardware samplers into modern productions.

In this library we have sampled a real TR909 with some of the most classic hardware samplers ever constructed, from the stylish Akai S1100 and Roland S770, to the warm and crunchy Emu Emax and Akai S950. Plus some samplers known for their dark and moody sound, such as the Ensoniq EPS. We even found an old sampling cartridge for the Atari ST that gives the classic 909 sounds an exceptionally artificial tone. Not something you can recreate with a simple bitcrusher effect.

The library is build upon ten different kits, sampled with ten different samplers. To recreate as many nuances of the samplers as possible, we included up to nine variations of each drum kit for each samplers, capturing different sampling rates and input volumes, from clean and pristine to crunchy and dirty and even outright broken and brutal.

The samplers used in Sampler Anthology 909: Akai S950, Akai S1100, Atari ST Replay 16, Casio FZ20m, Ensoniq EPS, Ensoniq ASR-10, Emu Emax, Emu E4XT Ultra, Kurzweil K2000, Roland S770/

Sampler Anthology 909 contains 9301 samples for each format, and comes with pre-made kits for Native Instruments Kontakt 4, Maschine, Akai MPC and FXpansion Geist.

The library is available for purchase for the introductory price of 14.90 EUR until October 12th, 2014 (regular 24.90 EUR).
