FLVIX is a free online video converter. You can convert and download videos from YouTube, Google Video or directly from .FLV file and play them on your PC, Mobile, iPod and PSP.

Just follow these simple steps:

  1. Copy the link of the page with the video on it and paste it in the textbox
  2. Choose desired format : AVI, MOV, MP4, 3GP, MP3
  3. Click Convert button
  4. Download the converted file

    Not that easy…at least for me.
    The conversion seemed way too fast, and in fact I don’t believe it actually converted anything. The subsequent final download to my desktop showed an entirely different file name, that contained 0 bytes.
    I must be doing something wrong, and could use more advise.

    Hi Larry,
    After succesfully downloading a few videos, I too did experience what you’re talking about. So perhaps some videos can not be downloaded this way.
    Did you try another service like vixy.net?

    Wow worked great!

    I found out for FLVIX you need to insert the video link into Keep Vid, and then find the direct download link from there.
    Not very convienent.

    That’s good to hear.
    All2Convert is another site you could try. It does video and audio conversion. You can upload a file from your computer, or convert directly by pasting the URL (i.e. for YouTube).
