Jeroen Breebaart FSynth Pro

Jeroen Breebaart has released version 1.0.1 of FSynth Pro, an audio effect that allows to modify the envelope and filter characteristics of existing audio events as if they were generated using MIDI.

FSynth Pro detects new audio events in the incoming audio signals, and configures an internal synthesizer in real time to sound very similar to the detected event. The envelope and filter characteristics of this internal synthesizer can subsequently be modified to drastically change the character of audio events. FSynth Pro is very suitable to spicen up drum or percussion tracks, and to generate sound scapes from real-time input.

FSynth Pro is available for Windows PC for just 10 EUR. A demo version is available for download from the product page (parameter display is and stereo ‘width’ knob are disabled).

Visit Jeroen Breebaart for more information.

When I download the ElectriK GuitarZ, the readme said I had to put the dll file into my DAW folder. Where is the DAW folder?

Hi Martin, you need to put the .dll file from the ElectriK GuitarZ download in your VST plug-ins folder.

DAW = the software you want to use the plug-in with. Perhaps the manual of your software explains where to put the .dll file.

    Good luck!

Where do I get the VST plug-ins?

    “Where is the DAW folder?”

That’s actually incorrect, it should be the “DAWG” folder. You need to own a dog to run this software and you place the software (usually loaded on a USB stick) in his food bowl. A day or 2 later, as all things must pass, the USB stick gets “processed” and the software is ready for action.

    Hope that helps. Cheers!

What Joker means is that it would be a good idea to try and google around for some answers Martin.
It looks like you’re new when it comes to VST, so check this Wikipedia article on VST and follow some links in there to find all the answers you’re looking for.

When you’ve read up and understand what VST means and how to use it, you can find a link to all the plug-ins hosted on rekkerd.org here: http://rekkerd.org/hosted-plug-ins
