Mathew Lane has released version 2.0 of DrMS, a spatial processor plug-in for Windows and Mac.

Build on a completely new internal algorithm, version 2 of the DrMS spatial processor plugin sounds even better then before. The new engine allows to create wider and deeper soundstages while, of course, maintaining the excellent compatibility DrMS is known for.

    A truly ‘secret weapon’ tool for all manner of spatial manipulations and repair. The most natural of processes I have heard in my long quest for soundstage design. V1 is a good friend and can’t wait to use the 2.0 upgrade.

    Also I would mention as this is ‘geared’ towards pro audio mixing/mastering, it’s also a wonderful way to enliven ‘flattened’ mp3′s for mixtapes and also ‘dead’ cassette recordings :)
