Native Instruments launches ‘3 More Reasons to go KOMPLETE’ Special

Native Instruments has launched a sales special on its KOMPLETE 8 professional music production bundle.

3 More Reasons to go KOMPLETE
Get Razor, Session Strings and The Mouth instruments free with a purchase of or crossgrade/upgrade to Native Instruments KOMPLETE 8.

Customers who buy and register KOMPLETE 8 before September 30, 2012, will receive three additional instruments from the Native Instruments portfolio completely for free: RAZOR, SESSION STRINGS, and THE MOUTH.

KOMPLETE 8 contains 27 instruments and effects, and already represents a significant saving compared to the price of purchasing the products individually. During the offer period, the bundle effectively provides a total of 30 instruments with an added saving of $277 / 237 EUR – the MSRP of the three free products.

The offer is available at participating retailers and the NI Online Shop. Users of older versions of KOMPLETE, as well as owners of crossgrade-eligible NI products such as KONTAKT 5 or MASCHINE, can also benefit – the offer is valid on upgrades and crossgrades to KOMPLETE 8.

The three additional instruments are provided as free downloads. Following registration of KOMPLETE 8, customers automatically receive an email with download links and serial numbers for RAZOR, SESSION STRINGS, and THE MOUTH.

KOMPLETE 8 is a comprehensive collection of the highest-quality tools for musicians, producers and sound designers. It includes the flagship platforms KONTAKT 5, GUITAR RIG 5 PRO, and REAKTOR 5, as well as legendary synths MASSIVE, ABSYNTH, and FM8 – among many others.

The offer ends September 30th, 2012.

So what do you guys think… This, or just wait for Komplete 9? I’m on 7 right now… They’ll probably do a 9 at the end of the year / early 2013 wouldn’t you think? I’m thinking about putting my $300 towards Zebra2 right now instead and that new Zimmer expansion pack for it.

With pretty much every update of Komplete you get more for less, so waiting is worth it but you miss out on using the new goodies in the meantime. Zebra2 and the Dark Zebra soundset are awesome though, so go for that now and get Komplete 9 later. That’s what I would do anyway.

thanks for the feedback. i think that’s what i’m gonna do. especially since in the meantime between 7 and 8 coming out i bought a bunch of the smaller NI instruments that are included in 8 (which is why I didn’t update in the first place). probably gonna get zebra2/darkzebra in the next week or two.

Let’s see… Kontakt, Guitar Rig, & Reaktor are the flagship products. Massive, Absynth, FM8, are the staple synths. This is their core product. Everything else is just various add-ons or filler.

Kontakt still doesn’t have sampling capabilities! Guitar rig still only has 1 bass amp model…ok, 2 if U count the tweedman. Reaktor got a face lift, but did they add numerous new instruments & FX? Sorry, I don’t count Reaktor instruments & fx, as being real packages because they only work in Reaktor. And most of all… they still haven’t released a Battery4 version. It needs a larger browser, audio slicing, Sequencing & another color besides that green just to name a few things! They need to include some Maschine type spin-off or something like Geist that allows U to program beats.

What are they really giving U that’s worth constantly updating to the next version? I keep seeing a wash, rinse, repeat, bundle lesser products cycle!
