Um, I got this e-mail too and it seemed like a dumb offer. A decent quality 160 gig external drive is about $60. The only place this offer is available is from the NI Web Shop, which means that any product you’d buy there would be at least $60 less at any decent music retailer.

Plus, Lacie doesn’t even offer drives this small in their web store. Smallest current drive is 160 gig.

So this is a non-offer offer imho.

It’s totally normal that you don’t find the product in their shop. This kind of product are made specially for the ‘commercial gifts market’ and are available on another commercial market usually used by the companies (and not the end-user) when they (the companies) want to give some ‘gift’ to their clients…(whatever the reason…usually it’s for making them buy).
