Native Instruments has released Urban Arsenal 2, a new KORE SoundPack which brings yet more of the beats, samples, sounds and loops for creating the freshest urban music productions.
URBAN ARSENAL 2 follows up on the huge success of the first edition with a production toolkit bursting with the essential building blocks of contemporary hip-hop.
Perfectly complementing the first pack, 236 box-fresh new sounds are included for the free KORE PLAYER and KORE 2, made up of drums, basses, leads, pads, keys and chords that perfectly fit the sound of the hottest new urban cuts. The pack also contains dubplate and tape processing and the return of the “remix” function for drum grooves- everything you need to lay down complete tracks from scratch.
Urban Arsenal 2 features
- Groove construction factory: The on-board groove construction tool offers over 15,000 groove variations covering many urban music styles. Over 1,000 drum sounds form the basis for the 40 groove sets and 29 drum kits, all of which have been newly recorded using premium quality outboard gear, and are pre-mastered for instant use in your productions. Additionally there’s a wide selection of vinyl drums and exclusively recorded beatbox samples. URBAN ARSENAL 2 also contains more sounds produced by professional beat-makers CLP (Chris de Luca vs Phon.o) and Montana Beats.
- Box-fresh MASSIVE sounds: 87 new massive patches are also included, with leads, basses and pads that have been tweaked and treated to give that heavy production-ready sound right out of the box. The patches can also be used in the MASSIVE synth, as well as KORE 2 and KORE PLAYER.
- 80 new KONTAKT instruments: URBAN ARSENAL 2 contains over 80 newly sampled KONTAKT instruments, with a focus on the analog synths, layered acoustic instruments and drum machines currently used on the freshest hip-hop joints. Several of these instruments were cut to dubplate and resampled for that extra-warm and soulful vinyl sound. Each multi-layered instrument is pre-processed for convenient load and play, and primed to deliver an authentic punch to your tracks.
