OddGrooves

OddGrooves has released Basic Drumming and Advanced Drumming, two MIDI drum libraries.

Ever wished that you didn’t have to rely on stiff MIDI programming for those complex passages in odd time signatures? Ever wished you had a great drummer at hand to play the odd stuff with a groove? With Oddgrooves MIDI Libraries, you do!

OddGrooves features

  • OddGrooves Basic Drumming: 290+ MIDI files in various playing styles (ride, bell, closed and open hihats, tomtom grooves, fills and longer jams), includes time signatures 3/4, 4/4, 5/4, 6/4 and 7/4.
  • OddGrooves Advanced Drumming: 340+ drum patterns in various playing styles (ride, ride bell, closed and open hihats, tomtom grooves, fills and longer jams), includes time signatures 5/8, 6/8, 7/8 and 9/8.

All drum patterns are played live by Berklee educated polyrhythmic master Magnus Brandell. In order to preserve the human feel and playing dynamics, our grooves are not quantized. The grooves are in standard MIDI format, arranged for Toontrack EZ Drummer and General MIDI.

OddGrooves Basic Drumming is available for $9.95 USD, while Advanced Drumming costs $14.95 USD. You can get both in a bundle for $19.95 USD.
