Review: Sounds in HD Vol.1
Sounds in HD has recently released its first volume of drum sample libraries called Sounds in HD: Sounds in the visual perspective.
These sounds were created to give you, the user, the ability to have as much freedom as possible with your tracks. We never skimp–on quality that is. We created this drum kit with the best tools available. We figured there will be no drum kit if we didnt give the up coming producers what they deserve. Each sound was mixed and mastered the best way possible, and we avoided extensive processing.
Sounds in HD Vol.1 features
- 56-Massive Kicks
- 38-Xplosive Snares
- 40-Glass Shattering Claps
- 25-Piercing Hats & Cymbals
- 45-Juicy Percs *Bonus Loop*
The sample library includes a total of a little over 200 16bit/44kHz samples and is available as an instant download for $39.95 USD.
So what do I think?
Sounds in HD Vol.1 is packed with useful drum sounds that should appeal to those looking for those phat kicks and crisp snares. The samples are especially great for Hip-Hop/RnB and other downtempo electronic music.
The guys at Sounds in HD have done a lovely job layering, synthesizing and processing these drum sounds so that you can fit them right into your mix.
Sounds in HD Vol.1 is definitely a great addition to your drum library, but you don’t have to take my word on it. You can download some mp3 demos from the product page and there’s a free demo kit with 15 samples available for download as well.
