Rob Papen unveils Punch, virtual percussive instrument
European distributor Time+Space has announced that synth extraordinaire Rob Papen will be unveiling his brand new virtual synth Punch at NAMM 2011 today which combines sampled and synthesized drums in a high quality percussive instrument.
The aptly named ‘Punch’ is a brand new speaker busting, body rattling software instrument with breathtaking features for the contemporary producer.
Not only does Punch give producers the power to use the drum synthesis to build their own unique sounding drum kits but they can also load their own samples into Punch to complete their kit.
The sounds can then be crafted using the stunning features, filters and huge synth power that we’ve come to expect from Rob Papen.
Punch will be shipping in Spring 2011 and available to buy in DVD or download format, RRP: £125 GBP / €149 EUR.
