Sample Magic has announced a Sample Search competition, a chance for sound designers to get their sounds in the spotlight and win £500 in prizes.

At Sample Magic we spend our days making the world’s best samples so that producers can make chart-hitting tracks, whether it be house, techno, dubstep, chillout, minimal, progressive or any other electronic genre.
This never-ending quest to find the world’s best sounds has led us to create the Sample Magic Sample Search.
We aim to seek out – and reward – the best up-and-coming sound designers across all genres with a bumper selection of prizes worth £500.
Prizes include a Korg Monotron hardware synth, £250 of Sample Magic products (including sample CDs, books and apps), plus clothing and compilation CDs from Defected and Hed Kandi Records.
Closing date for entering the competition is 31st July, 2012.
