Short links for January 28th, 2008
Some interesting things I bookmarked on del.icio.us on January 28th, 2008:
- The music and amazing instruments of Nick Crump - He is frequently referred to as “following in the footsteps of Gerard Hoffnung”, being a versatile musician with a flair for inventing unusual new instruments.
- DIY Guitar - Adam Leeb’s (slightly weird looking) home built guitar.
- Piezo bow - Contact mic attached to bow, used as instrument. Check the link for sound samples.
- MIKOSA Issue #4 - Together with the MIKOSA CUBES, issue #4 is now available on MIKOSA’s website and in selected shops in Europe.
- Quick Home Studio Monitor Tests - Hometracked - A collection of audio samples designed to help check my monitor setup. Test tones, essentially, that I use after I’ve moved my speakers or desk, to ensure the speakers still behave as they should.
