SoundFreqs

SoundFreqs has announced the launch of its sound design collective.

SoundFreqs officially launches on July 16th, 2015 and many people are excited to see exactly what that means for musicians and producers all over the world. This new sound design collective has a unique approach and the three talented artists that back it have their sights set on changing a few things in an industry that has been notoriously difficult to succeed in for a very long time. Delivering Hollywood-quality sounds, for a fraction of the price, SoundFreqs also provides free tutorials to their community members to help them better understand how to use the sounds, how they were made and how well-known professionals use them in high-level productions.

The music industry has been struggling for several years now, with online piracy and countless streaming services negatively impacting the value of musicians and their work, it’s no wonder why we are seeing so many people rushing to get their hands on these new sounds and resources from SoundFreqs. The founding members of SoundFreqs believe that we have finally reached a pivotal time when fundamental changes to how people find, use and engage with sounds will be embraced on a very large scale.

When asked how the SoundFreqs concept was born, owner Chris Gear said, “Well, we’ve been working hard to help change the direction of this industry for many years now, through community-building, education and sharing. Along the way, we’ve learned a lot about how people perceive things both creatively and technically, what kinds of obstacles they encounter in this new digital age and how these things inevitably shape the future of music in general. We also see how hardware and software technologies are influencing how people approach their art and their business. SoundFreqs is the answer to many common problems that modern producers and musicians face on a daily basis, starting with the sounds and ending with education resources that keep up with the ever-changing landscape of the music world.”

“SoundFreqs goes a step beyond simply delivering good sounds to people and sharing how to use them.” says Gear. “We are also a global platform for artists across all genres of music. If you are a musician or producer and have used our sounds in your music, then you and your music can be showcased in our Artist Spotlight program. This is a big opportunity for people. Being discovered has long been the biggest challenge in the music business and we aim to change that, too.”

When asked what makes SoundFreqs different from other companies doing similar things, Gear simply said, “Community. It always comes back to community. Surround yourself with the right people and resources and it’s hard to fail, as long as you are willing to put in the work and check your ego at the door.” He also added, “We are quite excited to share our plans for the SoundFreqs community with the world. Some truly groundbreaking stuff is on its way and we are all happy to be a part of it all. This is a very exciting time for everyone in the world of music production.”

SoundFreqs products will be available from Loopmasters.
