Soundiron has announced the release of Emotional Piano for Propellerhead’s Rack Extension platform for Reason.
This deeply sampled walnut bodied virtual grand piano has a deep, hazy, warm and ponderous sound absolutely perfect for expressive songwriting and dark, brooding underscores.
The Rack Extension user interface allows custom shaping of the sound from softening of the transient to release damping. Also included are 40 unique new presets that transport Emotional Piano to different places using Soundiron’s own professionally recorded convolution impulses. This 1.17 GB Rack Extension requires Reason 8.
The Emotional Piano Rack Extension is available for purchase at the Propellerhead Shop for $99 USD.
In celebration of the release, Soundiron has also launched a sale on the Kontakt Player Edition of Emotional Piano.
Emotional Piano Kontakt Player Edition requires Kontakt or Kontakt Player version 4.2.4 or later. This 2.57 GB library is optimized with ncw lossless compression.
It offers custom convolution reverb impulses to place the piano in a wide variety of different natural and supernatural spaces. It also includes customizable sound-shaping controls and dozens of unique special effect and atmospheric presets, making it a powerful tool for all of your scoring needs.
