Standard Beat Company has launched its Calderwood Percussion Instruments sample library.
Not content with building our own custom loops and sounds, we went out and found a custom drum builder. Calderwood Percussion Instruments is a small drum company that specializes in custom built drums and vintage restorations.
CPI includes 10 construction style beats (a total of 56 loops) in .rex, 24bit WAV, Reason ReFill, and Apple Loops formats and 120 individual hits in 24bit WAV format. Also included is a round robin style kit (NI Battery/Ableton Live) for creating your own loops.
CPI was composed using all original samples from custom built instruments.
The sample pack costs $29 USD.
