Steven J. Backman: Toothpick Art

Related: , , // Posted in random posts

Steven J. Backman has been creating toothpick sculptures since he was a child, when he made a science project of DNA molecules from ordinary toothpicks and beans. After getting a toothpick stuck in the palm of his hand he quit his hobby. Ouch!

Later, Steven used toothpicks for a project while attending University. Since then he has created some amazing sculptures, including a four and a half foot long electric powered radio-controller yacht (10,000 toothpicks!).

Check out his gallery, some amazing stuff in there.
