String Audio has announced updates for its Alchemist Cinematic Textures and Impacts and Dark Matter cinematic instrument libraries for Native Instruments Kontakt.

ALCHEMIST Cinematic Textures and Impacts are two powerful tools for Kontakt to create deep and complex cinematic sounds. Each instrument is composed of six layers. The libraries feature several GB of sample material, giving you a lot of combinations and sound colors.

Changes in Alchemist v1.1

  • New ADSR lock button for each layer, when enabled the ADSR is not affected by the randomize function.
  • Added 56 new Impulse Responses, including tape echo delays and analog reverbs.
  • Added 67 new Snapshots.
  • Minor fixes and improvements.

DARK MATTER is a powerful tool to create outstanding and complex cinematic sound textures. Each instrument is composed of four layers. The library features more than 13GB of sample material using Kontakt’s lossless sample storage compression (more than 20GB not compressed), giving you a lot of combinations and sound colors.

Changes in Dark Matter v1.6

  • New Solo and Mute buttons for each layer.
  • The convolution send string is now visible when in the “bypass” position (full white).
  • Minor fixes and improvements.

The Alchemist Cinematic Textures and Impacts instruments are available for $99 USD and $49 USD, respectively, or in a new Alchemist Cinematic Bundle for just $119 USD. Dark Matter costs $99 USD.

All three libraries are now available in the Alchemist & Dark Matter Bundle for $199 USD (regular $247 USD).
