u-he has released revision 2228 of its plug-ins, including Satin, DIVA, Zebra, and ACE.

These hopefully fix the most pressing issues. We know of some bugs with VST3 and you better don’t automate parameters with an LFO in Bitwig.

  • fixed missing Sync button in ZebraCM.
  • fixed possible crash in VST.

Audiffex updates GK Amplification to v2.1.0

Audiffex GK Amplification

Audiffex has released version 2.1.0 of its GK Amplification amp and speaker effect plug-in, which now includes 64-bit versions and VST3 and AAX support.

GK Amplification plug-in includes exact models of Gallien-Krueger amps and speakers. All the functions of the original amps (Bi-Amp, filters) are available. All controls do the same as their hardware counterparts.

  • 64-bit plug-in versions added.
  • VST3 and AAX plug-in formats added.
  • User presets handling improved for better portability.
  • GUI functionality improved.

McDSP releases Channel G Surround for AAX

McDSP Channel G Surround

McDSP has announced the release of Channel G Surround for Pro Tools 10 and 11 with support for both Mac and Windows, in AAX DSP and AAX Native plug-in formats.

Channel G Surround, like all McDSP AAX plug-ins, includes a 64-bit audio path, real-time control smoothing, and operation above 0 dB. The AAX DSP version can also share dsp chips with other AAX DSP plug-ins on Avid HDX hardware.

McDSP customers already owning the v5 version of Channel G Surround can download this update free of charge. Customers not owning Channel G Surround v5 can upgrade their plug-in at McDSP’s web store, or through their local Pro Tools dealer.

Softube updates Console 1 software for Mac to v2.1.6

Softube has released version 2.1.6 of the Console 1 software for Mac OS X, including CPU optimizations and bug fixes.

Current owners of Softube plug-ins, in particular Console 1 owners, are advised to download and install the new software version. The update includes improvements and bug fixes, mainly for Console 1 but also slight CPU improvements to the entire Softube product line.

Changes in v2.1.6

  • Updated with GUI bug fixes. Fixes problems with line breaks in dialogs, and affects track meters.
  • Console 1 OSD: Changed help texts in All mode, changed ugly-looking ellipsis in Group text.
  • Console 1 OSD: The left (instead) of right meter is used in mono mode. Looks better that way.

XILS-lab updates XILS 3 synthesizer to v2.0

XILS-lab has announced the release of XILS 3 v2.0, an updated version of its authentic-sounding software emulation of the vintage EMS VCS3 portable analogue synthesizer.

The XILS 3 V2.0 not only emulates the Synthi (VCS 3) modular synthesizer, it also adds an emulation of the 256 Analog Sequencer, the natural companion of the VCS 3.

Is that all? No, of course, we added a SECOND Matrix, with 2 additional envelopes, one LFO, a detailed Sample and Hold module, and a Voltage processor…

And some input modules : Gate, Transient, Envelope Follower and Pitch Tracker to transform the XILS 3 into an advanced Effect Processor! This means hundreds of additional connections. Add to the pile the analog chorus with its three modes, the analog delay and the phaser… the picture emerges.

A.O.M. updates plugins to v1.7.2

A.O.M. has released version 1.7.2 of its Invisible Limiter, Stereo Imager D, Wave Shredder, tranQulizr, and Cyclic Panner effect plug-ins for Windows and Mac.

All plugins has been updated to 1.7.2. This is a maintenance release but several enhancements are shipped with. Invisible Limiter has a new UI design by Ryo Asakura.

Flux launches AAX HD-X for Flux Series plugins & bundles + 50% off

Flux has announced that its plug-ins and bundles are now available in AAX HD-X versions.

Today with the release of Syrah v3 we also release the +AAX DSP version for the AVID HD-X platform of all our bundles, including Dynamix Pack 1.1 and Full Pack 2.1

All our Flux:: series plug-ins are now available in v3 versions, AU/VST/AAX Native/AAX DSP in 32 and 64 bits, with the exception of Alchemist that still is 32 bit and AU / VST / RTAS only, but will during May 2014 be released in AAX Native & 32/64 bit, as a FREE upgrade for all owners of the plug-in or a bundle that contains it.

As with all our v3 plug-ins, our bundles are available in two different product versions:

* Native – supporting AU / VST / AAX Native
* +AAX DSP – supporting AU / VST / AAX Native / AAX DSP

All current owners of any of our AAX DSP licences will, in addition to the AAX DSP/Native version, from today also be able to use the Native v3 versions (AU / VST ) of the AAX DSP software they own. Simply download the corresponding Native v3 installer and install it.
