Ample Sound has released version 1.1.0 of its AGM (Martin D-41) and AGT (Taylor 714) virtual acoustic guitar instruments for Windows and Mac.

Changes in AGM & AGT v1.1.0

  • Alternate Tuner: Turning the 6 tuners on the head allows user to change the tune of corresponding strings up to 2 semitones down.The tuners are fully compatible with all solo and strumming techniques and all articulations.
  • Keyboard Mode: Multiple notes now can be played simultaneously on one string without automatic hammer on /pull off, which enables the software to be played like a simple keyboard instrument.
  • New Installer: Refined the software property/settings file, so as to fix a former writing permission bug.

The AGM and AGT plug-ins for Windows and Mac (VST/AU/RTAS) are available to purchase for $169 USD each, or bundled for $279 USD. Existing customers can download the update free of charge.

Ample Sound releases Ample Guitar T

Ample Sound has announced the release of Ample Guitar T, a virtual guitar instrument for Windows and Mac.

Ample Sound offers a virtual Taylor 714 guitar with Ample Guitar T.

AGT is recorded on the Taylor 714 acoustic guitar, with 3892 dry samples and a total size of 5.00GB. Original samples have been recorded as 24-bit 44.1kHz stereo. Natural sustain and resonating sounds of the guitar are unadulterated. No looping samples. The samples are categorized in two banks: Strum and Pick (AGM has Strum and Finger).

As with other Ample Guitar instruments, AGT features the following functionalities and techniques: Hammer On & Pull Off, Legato Slide up & down, Slide in Below & Slide out Downwards, Palm Mute, Natural Harmonic, Popping 9 guitar techniques, Legato at random length, pitch & poly. All techniques can be played in Legato mode, even when strumming.

By using real strumming samples with customized chord, rhythm and tempo, AGT Strummer combines the advantages of both sample-based and simulation strumming techniques.

Ample Sound has released a native RTAS version of its Ample Guitar virtual guitar instruments.

The update covers AGM, AGP, AGF, AGG. Ample Sound is planning to release Ample Guitar AAX version in the near future.

Ample Sound has updated its Ample Guitar series of virtual guitar instruments for Windows and Mac to version 1.2.0.

  • Slide Smoother: Enable the users to make different slide sounds via MIDI velocity, in order to make slide sounds more natural and smooth with controllable time, volume, and even acceleration.
  • Fixed a crash issue due to the Compressor Gain.

Ample Sound has released the Ample Guitar Series, a collection of three guitar sound libraries.

Ample Guitar is a sample-based virtual instrument with high quality samples and intelligent technology. In order to get high quality and no FX processing dry samples, Ample Sound chose the traditional and classic way to record the instrument.
