Applied Acoustics Systems releases Raw for Ultra Analog VA-2

Applied Acoustics Systems has announced the release of Raw, a sound bank for the Ultra Analog VA-2 synthesizer and AAS Player plug-ins in collaboration with artist and sound designer Andre Ettema.

Applied Acoustics Systems Raw

From subtle warmth to screaming distortion, Raw relies on the natural overdrive of Ultra Analog VA-2’s filters and its builtin effects to propose a surprisingly varied set of unpolished, gritty, and dirty sounds. Raw is Andre Ettema’s fourth title in the AAS sound bank series. This collection of 100 signature presets is divided into six categories: Bass, Effect, Keys, Leads, Movers, and Pads.

“Ultra Analog can sure play the bad guy and we were very excited when Andre Ettema came up with the idea of exploiting this lesser-known side of its personality,“ says Marc-Pierre Verge, CEO of Applied Acoustics Systems, “Raw is a very original and distinctive sound bank that is great fun to play with and which showcases beautifully the great versatility of Ultra Analog VA-2.”

Raw is available for purchase for the introductory price of $29 USD until March 17th, 2015 (regular $39 USD). Includes both a Ultra Analog VA-2 bank file and the free AAS Player plug-in for Windows and Mac (VST/AU/RTAS/AAX).
