Digital Brain Instruments (formerly Audiomeals) has released an update to Multiplex Vocoder, a vocoder effect software for Windows and Mac.

Multiplex Vocoder

Multiplex Vocoder is a standalone software developed for music production purposes. It allows using any vst/audiounit instrument output or an audio file from your computer as the vocoder carrier signal. Real-time input processing.

Changes in Multiplex Vocoder

  • 2 Microphone Inputs.
  • Audio Player Input. Play any file from your computer within Multiplex Vocoder or as background audio.
  • Sends Matrix. It allows using different vocoders for each input when using 2 or 3 inputs at same time.

Audiomeals has launched Talkie Box, a walkie-talkie, radio, and telephone voice designer software for Windows and Mac.

Talkie Box is a prototype “all-in-one” audio tool develop to create & design radio voice effects for films & games.

  • Noise Laboratory:
    • Design your own radio background noise and interferences sounds.
    • Up to 6 different noise signals. Control FM Gen parameters via XY Pad.
    • Includes High Pass & Low Pass filters and 3-Band Parametric EQ.
    • Noise Lab Sampler: Once the desired background noise has been designed, you can also trigger this noise as if it were a sampler via Noise Pad. Triggering envelope designer included.
  • Convolution Lab:
    • Design your own voice noisy sounds. Add some noise and bad reception sounds to your voice.
    • Input signal is convolved trough different noisy sound signals. Up to 6 different noisy sound signals. Control FM Gen parameters via XY Pad.

    • Input depending mode available. Allows activating or deactivating the convolution lab sound depending the input level.
    • For example, you can create some noisy voice sounds and activate them only when the input level is high, so you will only hear these sounds when your voice is louder, creating some interesting and realistic effects.

    • Up to 6 pre-loaded radio & walkie-talkie sounds available.
    • You can also load your own sample; triggering envelope designer.

Audiomeals Plug-In Channel Strip

Audiomeals has announced the release of Plug-In Channel Strip, a prototype audio app conceived for music production, live sets and audio post-production, including voice and sound design.

Plug-In Channel Strip features eight plug-in modules where you can load any VST effect to design your own VST channel strip, including plug-ins like equalizers, delays, reverbs, distortion, flanger, compressors or any other VST effect from your computer.

Send your mic or instrument input into PCS to design the sound you want while PCS processes the incoming audio through eight plug-In modules.

Plug-In Channel Strip features

  • Optional 100Hz High Pass Filter at input stage.
  • Up to 8 plug-ins channel strip.
  • Save & Recall options.
  • Mono & Stereo Input modes.
  • Virtual Instrument module available. Play any virtual instrument through the plug-in channel strip.
  • Vocoder module available. Load any virtual instrument to use it as your vocoder sound source, feed the vocoder with your mic input and process the audio through the plug-in channel strip.
  • Output recording on WAV-AIFF-SD2-AU formats. Up to 192kHz/32-bits, depending your soundcard.
  • Use Plug-In Channel Strip within any DAW or audio editor via Soundflower or JK Pipe (for Protools).

Multiplex Vocoder features four VST Vocoder modules where you can load any Virtual Instrument to design your final vocoder sound using from 1 to 4 vocoder sound sources. Optional 100Hz High Pass Filter at input stage.

Transform your favourite synthesisers into vocoders, send your voice to 4 vocoders simultaneously while recording the audio output, optional dry/wet recording mode. Each Vocoder features it`s own 3-band parametric equalizer.
