Is it a piece of candy? Is it a planet? Is it a new type of bowling ball?

Well, you already read the post title so you already know the answer… It’s Sony Ericsson’s MBS-100, a portable cell phone speaker.

The MBS-100 is the first portable speaker from Sony Ericsson able to stream music wirelessly from your phone via Bluetooth. This 1.5 watt speaker has a 900mAh Li-lon battery, good for about 5 hours of music streaming.

According to Crave, these speakers will be available from Q1 2008, in selected Asia-Pacific markets.

Cagnina Design has developed TEMPO, an external hard drive storage device which automatically stores your files as they are deleted.

Designed to mimic the look of a trash can, TEMPO is a unique hard drive storage device. Intended to protect the user from accidentally deleting files, it can also be used as an external storage device. As you delete files, they are automatically copied to the TEMPO. As it fills up, led’s light the “can” from the bottom up, informing you of how much space is available.

The device is bluetooth powered, so no wires! I wonder how much it is going to cost with all those LEDs on it…
