Boscomac has announced Freezbee, a free Reaktor ensemble for freezing audio.

Boscomac Freezbee
Who has never dreamed to suspend sound like a frisbee in the sky?

FREEZBEE is an effect that freezes an incoming signal. A buffer stores a few seconds of sound and keeps it in the air as long as you want. You can link the button “freeze” to a controller (footswitch for example) and act in two modes: GATE or LATCH. There is a lowpass filter to soften the frozen signal and the stereo jitter allows spatialize the result. Originally designed for guitar, Freezbee works with any mono source …

The Freezbee ensemble is a free download, donations are accepted.

Boscomac has announced the release of the ‘Patasonix drum synthesizer instrument for Native Instruments Reaktor.

Boscomac 'Patasonix
The ‘Patasonix drum synth module for Native Instruments Reaktor 5.

‘PATASONIX is not a post-mortem movement introduced by Alfred Jarry of the kingdom of the dead but a punchy drumbox.

Based entirely on sound synthesis, it includes a magic button that expands its sounds in industrial world.

‘Patasonix is mapped to the GM standard and the button AIS plays an artificial autonomous sequence, practical to fine tune the sound. Note that the drumbox is usable in multi-out with “Sculptor” effect separate.

The ‘Patasonix ensemble is a free download. Donations are appreciated.

Boscomac releases Boxymuse Reaktor ensemble + updates

Related: , , , Posted in news on Dec 21, 2012 - comment 0 comments

Boscomac has announced the release of Boxymuse, a free music box inspired ensemble for Native Instruments Reaktor.

As we approach the Christmas fest, a distant memory inspired me this music box which will delight probably composers of film music.

The instrument provides three octaves, a setting of color of harmonics and mechanics of noise. Finally, it’s by turning the modulation wheel that the box is back forward.

WURLITSAR is an electric piano belonging to the Wurlitzer family. It delivers a sound which is both round and warm. Shake it a little bit and it will show you its bluesy side. Add a little tremolo and you’ll find yourself on a boat, vibrating on the ocean…

CLAVINESS is an electric piano belonging to the Clavinet family. Its main asset is its range of sounds, from round to lively, and its unstoppable attacks which snap in the ear. It is a tremendous instrument for a keyboardist who likes to strike the keys with the elbows and the knees!

Both ensembles are available to download at no cost. Donations are appreciated.
