CDSoundMaster has announced the release of its Classic Console Collection suite of audio software plug-ins for Windows and Mac.

These audio plug-ins allow users the use of real analog vintage mixing consoles in their digital mixes using the latest technology. There are five different consoles in the collection, and each can be purchased individually or they can be purchased together at a savings.

These Audio Plug-Ins are created with ultra-realistic, 3D Rendered Graphical User Interfaces, or GUI’s, that allow the user to enjoy the look and feel of the original consoles they are using.

“Our Classic Consoles look, sound, and operate like the real analog desks they represent” says Michael Angel, CDSoundMaster, “… because they are created by recording through the actual original consoles.”
CDS has worked with a process called “V.V.K.T.”, or Vectorial Volterra Kernels Technology for several years now, and when used with an excellence in procedure, signal integrity, and editing, it provides the user with a nearly identical result to using the original console.

The Classic Console Collection is available to purchase for Windows and Mac (VST/AU with included AU Manager), priced at $225 USD. A free, fully functional MCI console program from the collection is also available directly from CDSoundMaster.

CDSoundMaster has announced the release Vintage Tube Collection and Tube Booster, two new tube effect plug-ins for Windows and Mac.

Vintage Tube Collection & Tube Booster effect plugins powered by Acustica Audio’s Nebula.

With the Vintage Tube Collection, everyone can afford to be a collector of rare vintage vacuum tubes. Included are prized tubes from Mullard, Amperex, Brimar, and Radiotechnique. There are a total of nine different tube programs in this collection.

CDSoundMaster states that “most modern producers have not had a lot of hands-on time with expensive, vintage tube gear, so their experience in the software market has largely been with overly-distorted, fake sounding tube drive. As a result, their expectations of what real tubes are supposed to sound like are anywhere from fizzy and distorted, to saggy and lacking in dimension. What we are doing is providing the real sound without overemphasizing the qualities. We actually built the hardware device to play the tubes. The result is the tube’s behavior at all volumes, also known as dynamic range, the frequency spectrum, and the harmonic distortion.”

The Tube Booster plug-in allows the user to add higher gain natural tube harmonic saturation. This is a process that has been emulated in many forms over the years, but because of its subjectivity, it is often implemented poorly and over-emphasized.

CDSoundMaster states that “… our technology allows us to recreate the purity of the analog signal with great detail, and in multiple dimensions.” This technology, called V.V.K.T., or Vectorial Volterra Kernels Technology, has been developed by Acustica Audio over many years, and CDSoundMaster has maintained close ties as beta tester and official 3rd Party Developer.

CDSoundMaster’s attention to detail does not end at the excellent sonic capabilities of these plug-ins, but they have also designed some of the most realistic Graphic Interfaces to date. Even more amazing is that these GUI’s, created by Vincent at GravityLinks, are completely unique to the software, and were designed from scratch.

CD Sound Master has announced Action!, a sound library designed for film score production.

The “ACTION!” Virtual Instrument and Loop/Sample Collection has been created to provide the Film Composer a genre-specific writing and recording tool for use in film score creation.

“ACTION!; focuses on the Blockbuster Action Film style of music to provide a huge collection of original musical themes and individual instrument sounds to cater to the needs of musicians who create film scores and trailer music. “ACTION!” is the first in CDSoundMaster’s line of Virtual Instruments and Sample Collections called “Cinematic Expressions”. Each new product in this line will focus on a specific genre or specific task.

CDSoundMaster has announced the release of R2R – The Essential Analog Tape Collection, and Tape Booster Plus audio effect plug-ins for Windows.

These new Stand-Alone Audio Plug-Ins feature the best programs from the library in stunning 3D GUI form, replicating the original classic tape machines for use in any PC host DAW that supports VST technology. CD Sound Master has released version 1.2 of VTM-M2, a vintage tape machine effect plug-in for Windows.

The VTM-M2 is the result of 5+ years of research and design. It stands for “Vintage Tape Machine” and we be believe that it defines a new level of authenticity in plug-in technology. It is based upon an original concept developed by Michael Angel of CDSoundMaster called “Virtual Interactive Signal Chain Technology”, and has been brilliantly executed in code by Michael Heiler. This unique cooperation has led to this special line of products developed for CDSoundMaster by “MX2″ or ‘Michael Times Two’.
