Chiptunes is a collection of 220 beautiful old school sounds for ElectraX, inspired by classic computer & game consoles.

Whether you are already well versed into chip music, or just looking to add that vintage 8 bit vibe to your music, Chiptunes will provide you with those classic, nostalgia-inducing sounds that are synonymous with yesteryear’s audio circuitry.

Icebreaker Audio has introduced Bitrate, a semi-modular, digital drum machine for Native Instruments Reaktor 5.

Offering a variety of sound generation styles, all based on digital synthesis from the late 80s and early 90s, BitRate is a gritty device with a retro heart of silicone.

BitRate offers the most accurate chip-style synthesis available for Reaktor.

ToneBytes has announced The Bleep Drums, a free chiptune sample pack.

The Bleep Drums is a free drumkit sample pack made by our user Stig’s SoundMachinery and based on sounds from Bleep’ synthesizer.

This sample pack contains the set of 32 original one-shot percussive samples (kicks, snares, claps, hats, bleeps etc.) and available in several audio formats: SF2, GIG, WAV and AIFF. So you can use any sampler or DAW with it.

A good choice for chiptune music or to add some vintage 8bit sounds in your tracks.
