Cinesamples announces The Tina Guo Sample Library

Cinesamples has announced The Tina Guo Sample Library, an upcoming sample library for Native Instruments Kontakt.

Nearly 2 years in the making, the Library will feature 3 playable instruments: acoustic cello, electric cello, and erhu, as well as loops in multiple genres, full melodic phrases with an integrated phrase-builder, sound design tools, innovative new use of the Kontakt player incorporating granular synthesis, changeable photo “skins” for the interface, and more.

The library will be available from Cinesamples on September 9th, 2014.

Cinesamples releases Dulcimer and Zither for Kontakt

Cinesamples has announced the release of Dulcimer and Zither, a new World Series sample library for Native Instruments Kontakt.

Recorded at the famous Firehouse Recording Studios in Los Angeles, and mixed by esteemed engineer Tim Starnes, the Dulcimer and Zither library will add stunning brilliance and color to any scoring palette.

Cinesamples has announced the release of CineStrings CORE, a virtual instrument library for Native Instruments Kontakt that contains the basic set of articulations needed to do most of the traditional writing and programming for the string section.

The CineStrings Core Library is Cinesamplesʼ orchestral string sample library for Kontakt. Recorded at the world famous SONY Pictures Scoring Stage in Los Angeles, and mixed by veteran legend Dennis Sands.The CineStrings CoreLibrary covers the essentials of the orchestral string section, and functions as afoundation in any scoring palette.

CineStrings is revolutionary in its power and simplicity for recreating the sound ofthe orchestral string section. The library was designed by composers, for composers, with direct feedback from the film music community during its development. The result is a string library that is easy to use, composer-friendly,with unparalleled recording quality.

CineStrings library does not require you topurchase any additional sample playback software, and is licensed to work withthe Native Instrument’s free Kontakt Player. All you need is a sequencer likeLogic, Cubase, Digital Performer, LIVE, Protools, Cakewalk, or evenApple GarageBand and youʼll be up and running. Cinesamples updates CineWinds orchestral woodwind instrument for Kontakt to v1.1

Cinesamples has released version 1.1 of CineWinds, the next-generation orchestral woodwinds library recorded in the legendary SONY Pictures Scoring Stage in Los Angeles, and mixed by master engineer Dennis Sands.

  • [CORE] New Instrument: Oboe 2.
  • [PRO] New Instrument: Contrabass Clarinet.
  • Added legato volume knob.
  • Release on/off button changed to Shorts Only Release on/off button – OFF position means the 1/4 or 1/2 note sample will cut off with an adsr fade when released.
  • Dynamic range/volume adjustments to make CORE and PRO work better together.
  • [PRO] Mod Wheel filter added to all one-dynamic instruments.
  • [PRO] Bass Flute new sample set with heavy denoise pass.
  • [PRO] Alto Flute, Bass Clarinet, Penny Whistle, Irish Flute new sample sets with mild hand-denoising.

Cinesamples updates CinePerc sample library to v1.1

Cinesamples CinePerc

Cinesamples has released version 1.1 of its CinePerc percussion sample library for Native Instruments Kontakt.

CinePerc is the definitive percussion sample library for composers of film, tv and videogames. The collection contains over 170 instruments and recorded at the world famous MGM scoring stage at Sony Pictures Studios in Hollywood by master engineer Dennis Sands.

Changes in CinePerc v1.1

  • Changed Patch List names to be better searchable by “importance”.
  • Added 6db to all patches to make the full mix blend better with other libraries.
  • ON MOST libraries, where we had keyboard real estate, rolls were stretched to A# with no release. This now allows you to have an option to have a release trigger (playing “B”) or NO release trigger (playing “A#”).
  • Misc sample ending edits, roll smoothing and releases, see notes to each library.

The CinePerc libraries are available to purchase for $299 USD each. The CinePerc CORE and PRO bundle is $549 USD, and the CinePerc Full Bundle (4 packs) is $999 USD.
