DDMF has announced the release of DirectionalEQ, an equalizer effect plugin for Windows and Mac.
DDMF’s directional equalizer for accurate stereo image manipulation purposes.
This brand new equalizer offers the unique possibility to influence specific directions in the stereo field only.
Want more bass at 2 o’clock, more treble at 10 o’clock and a bit more midrange at 3 o’clock? No problem, that’s exactly what this plugin was made for. Five independent bands let you shape the stereo field in the most detailed way possible today. Internal 64 bit processing and twofold oversampling round off the picture, together with, of course, DDMFs usual excellent sound quality.
DirectionalEQ for Windows and Mac (VST/AU/RTAS) is available to purchase at a 30% introductory price (regular $29 USD).
DDMF has announced that its ColourEQ equalizer effect plug-in for Windows and Mac is now available as freeware.
DDMF’s ColourEQ has now become freeware! When it was created a few years ago it featured truly unique frequency response curves which have helped many engineers out there achieve the sound they were aiming for.
Recently, most of these curves have been integrated into the all-round workhorse IIEQPro though, and for the future we want to concentrate all our efforts on the further development of our more complex products.
Sooo… ColourEQ is now available free of charge in the freeware section, for Windows VST/RTAS and OSX VST/AU/RTAS. You’re welcome!
Computer Music 179 includes the DDMF CM EQ Pack, a bundle of two equalizer effect plugins for Windows and Mac.
CM versions of DDMF’s IIEQ Pro and LM10 plug-ins are included in Computer Music 179.
We’re giving away two fantastic, pro-quality EQ plugins with Computer Music 179! The DDMF CM EQ Pack contains two free plugins for PC and Mac, in AU and VST plugin formats.
IIEQ Pro CM is an all-purpose EQ, whereas LP10 is focused more on mastering, offering linear phase and variable phase operation. The plug-ins are based on DDMF’s highly regarded IIEQ Pro and LP10 plugins.
DDMF has announced RTAS support for its commercial plugins.
All commercial DDMF audio plugins (except Metaplugin, for licensing reasons) are now available in RTAS format for both Windows and Mac OS X and should run in ProTools 8 and higher.
For owners of the most recent plugin versions, access to the new format is free.
Also, IIEQPro 3.0.6 and LP10 4.0.2 have been released, now featuring a freely resizable user interface.
DDMF has updated its effect chainer Metaplugin to version 2.2.
Transport information from the host is now properly transmitted to the loaded plugins (which means start/stop playback or BPM information is available). Also, an option for two-fold oversampling of the whole signal chain is now available.
Further news: RTAS releases of all plugins except Metaplugin (for legal reasons) are planned during the second half of April. AAX versions will follow later this year. At that point, prices will have to be adjusted slightly, meaning that possible customers have about ten days left to take advantage of the current price structure. For all previous owners, the new versions will be available free of charge.
Metaplugin for Windows and Mac (VST/AU) is available to purchase for $29 USD.
DDMF has updated its plug-in chainer Metaplugin to version 2.1, released Virtual Audio Recorder and a plug-in version of ChordDetector.
DDMF has released version 2.2 of the plugin chainer ‘Metaplugin’, now with a separate synth version to build not only metaeffects, but also metainstruments (now also with a 64 bit version for Mac, VST/AU).
Also, a plugin version of the previously standalone app ‘ChordDetector’ is now available for both Windows VST and Mac VST/AU (32/64 bit).
Finally, Virtual Audio Recorder has been released, which is a spin-off of Virtual Audio Stream and specifically designed to record Windows audio streams (the “stereo mix”). This program is Windows only.
