Standard Beat Company has announced the release of Dropstep, a collection of highly refined hits and loops designed for use in modern sound and music production, with a nod and a wink to the hardstep era of drum and bass.

Dropstep includes kits for Native Instruments Kontakt 5, Native Instruments Battery 4/3, 111 individual hits in 24 bit .wav format, 10 construction style beats (a total of 43 loops) in both .rex and 24 bit .wav formats, and 5 kits for Native Instruments Maschine.

Dropstep was composed using all original samples recorded with Lavry Blue A/D conversion prior to enduring an elaborate post process.
