Drumdrops has announced the upcoming 1963 Premier Outfits 54, the first release in a series of 8 single shot multi-velocity drum kits.

Already one of the world’s leading places to purchase bespoke live drum tracks as multi- tracks, stems and loops, Drumdrops.com are now gearing up to start selling the first of their high-standard, single shot multi-velocity drum kits from May 2013.

The first kit set for release is the Vintage 1963 Premier Outfits 54 Kit, similar to the one played by Ringo Starr in his early career. This classic vintage kit was recorded in Miloco’s The Pool in London, taking advantage of the studio’s fantastic sounding live space. The talents of drummer, Adam Falkner, were harnessed to sample the kit in multiple velocity steps to create the most realistic sounding packs possible. This kit is an essential addition to any drum library, offering the highest quality authentic sounding 60s kit at your fingertips.

To make projects even easier, the 1963 Premier Outfits 54 kit is available to purchase in three separate packs.

The Kontakt edition allows for custom velocity curves of each drum.

1963 Premier Outfits 54 features

• The Kontakt 5 Pack — Probably the most impressive part about this forthcoming release; Drumdrops have built their own Kontakt 5 interface featuring everything existing Kontakt 5 users have come to expect. Sixteen velocity levels are included on each articulation and multiple round robins resulting in over 7000 samples, ensures this kit is meticulously and successfully matched to the real thing. The mixer has mute, solo, pan, phase, routing and two aux sends and each channel comes with a 4-band EQ and Transient Master. Custom velocity curves and MIDI Mapping are also standard. There are a number of convolution reverbs included, which have been taken from a variety of commercial studios, and some of the more interesting spring and plate reverbs, whilst randomisation features further enhance the authentic sound. • The Multi-Velocity Pack — Don’t have Kontakt 5? Don’t worry – Drumdrops have covered that, too! This pack is perfect for the pro’s that may want a smaller sample set to add to their library, and with up to sixteen velocity levels on each articulation and no round robins, it’s the ideal choice. Built to load up in any sampler or drum machine, Drumdrops have also made life easier, going that one step further by including templates for Kontakt, Battery, EXS24, idrum, Maschine, with Geist and MIDI templates included for the sampler templates. Native Instruments has announced the release of Pulswerk, a new Maschine Expansion designed for minimalistic house and techno.

Aside from its 30 drum kits, PULSWERK contains 20 unique Special Kits created exclusively with pitched sound sources. The Expansion also features an array of Multi-Effect Kits containing pre-sequenced, tempo synced effect chains and 60 new specially-designed MASSIVE presets. Combining these, PULSWERK provides an extensive toolkit for producers eager to turn deep sonic experimentation into finished professional productions.

PULSWERK’s 30 Drum Kits provide a selection of kicks, snares, claps, metallic sounds, and more specifically chosen to serve as a sonic foundation for the rest of the Expansion’s feature set. Steinberg has announced the release of Allen Morgan Signature Drums Vol.1, a sound library for the Groove Agent ONE virtual drum instrument.

Faithfully recorded and elaborately pre-processed by LA-based producer Allen Morgan, all sounds are laid out as ready-to-use drum kits and include one-shot drum and effect samples.

The 30 included drum kits cover acoustic as well as electronic drum styles and are categorized in Dubstep, Big Beat, Pop Extreme, Rock Extreme, Vintage Extreme and Progressive House.

The included 150 MIDI loops provide energetic beats that are easily accessed through the MediaBay and complete the library expansion with five grooves for each drum kit.
