eaReckon EARebound

eaReckon has updated the EARebound delay effect plugin for Windows and Mac to version 1.0.2.

EARebound is a full-featured multi-delay plug-in which has been designed to meet a specific need : to quickly create rhythm lines from percussive sounds recorded in various environments (natural, urban, industrial, …).

Changes in EARebound v1.0.2

  • Solo Mode — Each line (except the “Global Delay”) can be soloed for very specific tone shaping.
  • More divisions — 32th and 64th (+ triplet / dotted) divisions have been added to Modulation and Delay Time Division menus. 32th and 64th sequences are also available from the “Delay Time” menu (“Time Line” view).
  • Global Edit modes (“Mix View” only).
By activating one of the two provided “Global Edit” modes, you can now change a same parameter across all delay lines (input and global delay settings are excluded from the global edit process).
  • Updated manuals.

EARebound for Windows and Mac (32/64-bit, VST/AU) is available to purchase for 99 EUR.

eaReckon intros EARebound delay effect plugin

Related: , , , , Posted in news on Mar 20, 2013

eaReckon has announced EARebound, a delay effect plugin for Windows and Mac.

eaReckon EARebound

EARebound is a full featured multi-delay plug-in (VST/AU 32/64bit) featuring 15 delay lines (“taps” or “steps”) + an extra global delay.

This plug-in provides an intuitive workflow. If you ever played with a vintage drum machine, you should master it in no time!

Each line (including the incoming signal) can be processed by its own set of effects (7 types of saturation, high and low cut filters, a quad modulation unit, … per line!). By sculpting each taps, you will then have the possibility to create rythmic lines from any sound material or enhance existing one.
Of course, EARebound is also suitable in any situation where a solid delay unit is needed!

EARebound will be available soon.

eaReckon updates BloXpander to v1.4.0

Related: , , , , , , , Posted in news on Dec 17, 2012
eaReckon BloXpander

eaReckon has updated its BloXpander host software to version 1.4.0.

This VST host has been designed to meet the requirements of musicians and sound engineers in live situations.

As a serious musician, you surely need a complete DAW to record your music, but when you are in front of your audience, it may be easier to use something dedicated to live situations.
And during live situations, the access to your instruments and effects must be fast and intuitive. The adjustment of these must be done efficiently, and the necessary software sub layers running on your computer should not be your concern when it comes to play or produce music.

Changes in BloXpander v1.4.0

  • 64-bit support: both 32-bit and 64-bit versions of BloXpander can be installed concurrently on a same computer (they do not share the same data folder).
  • Direct support of jBridge (if available). Please note that BloXpander does not currently feature its own 32-64 bit wrapper. jBridge is a third party tool which is not delivered with BloXpander.
  • “Smooth Mixer”: all controls of the mixer have been smoothed. BloXpander will do its best to avoid pops/clicks and artifacts on a modification of the console state. For example, when an insert is muted, the plug-in it contains is suspended after a short fade out, etc.
  • The main controller in MC Protocol mode now handles transport related messages and optionally sends time code and metering information to compatible external MIDI controllers.
  • Improved compatibility with various third party plug-ins.
  • Alternative “Hysteria meter” that gives more information about latency and ASIO performances.
  • Better handling of ‘hot’ sample rate changes.
  • BloXpander is now resizable as any classic windowed application (the ‘maximize’ button can be used to switch to full screen mode). It is also possible to hide Aux Returns to get more visible Channels on smaller screens.
  • Faster loading of samples in the context of a widely used sampler plug-in.
  • New ‘Info’ box (‘?’ button on BloXpander’s system panel).
  • Updated manuals.
  • … and a lot more things! (replacement of missing plug-ins, improved handling of hot keys, improved MIDI engine, expert options, per plug-in options, unified operation of library and scene slots, less “paranoid” BloXcanner, etc., etc.)…
… almost 50% of the code has been changed, actually.
  • Fixes a bug related to the MIDI tempo tap setting (was not correctly saved in some situations).
  • Minor bugs fixed.

BloXpander is available to purchase for 69 EUR.

eaReckon updates ANALOG87 Series to v1.1.5

Related: , , , Posted in news on Oct 19, 2012

eaReckon has updated all five of the plug-ins in the ANALOG87 Series to version 1.1.5.

The ANALOG87 series features 5 plugins. These have been designed and fine tuned “by human ears” and except for PR-EQUA87, you will not get a lot of visual feedback from them… just good sound. They have been thought with this idea in mind : “your ears deserve trust”

eaReckon PR-EQUA87
The PR-EQUA87 parametric equalizer effect plug-in now includes tips.

Changes in ANALOG87 Series v1.1.5

  • EQ Tips provided by Computer Music magazine have been added to PR-EQUA87. These tips are similar to those appearing in CM-EQUA87 (free eaReckon plug-in available exclusively with Computer Music 184).
  • Immediate handling of parameter changes before resuming a suspended plug-in. This should improve coherency of results in the context of hosts which do not “process silence”.
  • Fixes a rare “distortion” issue that can potentially affect the VST version of PR-EQUA87 and CS-STRIP87 on Mac OS X.

The ANALOG87 Series for Windows and Mac (VST) is available to purchase for 99 EUR. CM-EQUA87, the slightly cut down version of PR-EQUA87 is currently available with Computer Music magazine (issue 184).

eaReckon EAReverb plugin updated to v1.2.2

eaReckon EAReverb

eaReckon has updated its EAReverb algorithmic reverb effect plug-in for Windows and Mac to version 1.2.2.

EAReverb is a true stereo reverb unit. EAReverb is 100% algorithmic. It does not use any IR files. Early reflections are built “on-the-fly” depending on your own settings. The size parameter has an impact on early reflections and late reverb… Switching from a size to another will immediately put your music or sounds in a place that matches your choice.

Changes in EAReverb v1.2.2

  • Improvement: Mono-to-Mono and Mono-to-Stereo routing capabilities have been added to the AU version. Logic users should now have the possibility to place EAReverb on a mono track without pressing the alt/option key.
  • Fixed bug: Fixes a potential incorrect initialization of early reflections when loading a project containing EAReverb in some specific hosts.

EAReverb for Windows and Mac (VST/AU) is available to purchase for 129 EUR.
