Faderfox launches DJ44 for Traktor Pro & Ableton Live

Fadefox has announce the release of DJ44, the first in-case controller for Traktor Pro and Ableton Live.

The DJ44 is the first member of a new line called SOLID CONTROL. The device is packed in a covered alu case with massive alu faceplate and high quality controls.

You will find all necessary controls to mix perfectly with two decks using the internal software mixer and effects of Traktor Pro. The compact size makes it possible to play everywhere you want. Unpacking the unit is very easy by simply clicking and removing the cover.

Extra large keys with a nice tactile feeling, pots and encoders with rubber knobs and a lot of LEDs and two displays give you an absolutely ergonomic instrument to rock the dancefloor. Last but not least the unit is also a good companion for Ableton Live if that is your prefered DJ software.

The DJ44 controller is available to purchase for 499 EUR (incl. VAT).

Faderfox launches UC3 universal & programmable controller

Faderfox UC3

Faderfox has announced the release of the UC3, a universal controller for all kinds of midi controllable software on Mac, PC and iPad.

The little box has 8 push-encoders and 9 faders, all switchable to 8 groups that allow to control a total amount of 136 control parameters. All controls are independently programmable very fast and easy by a small display.

The factory settings are perfect to control music and video software products out of the box if they are freely assignable. So any additional device programming isn’t necessary for many applications.

Last but not least the UC3 is also a great extension for your Ableton Live setup. A special control surface script for Ableton Live 8 is enclosed in the package. With that script you can also use two UC3 devices to control up to 16 tracks simultaneously.

The UC3 is available to purchase for 169 EUR inc. VAT.

Faderfox has introduced the LV3, a compact controller for Ableton Live.

The device controls track volumes by faders, rack parameters by encoders and joysticks and important global things like tempo, quantization & cue/master-volumes.

Further you get a total track control by 24 programmable buttons, organized in 3 rows. You will find a very convenient way to select and fire scenes & clips by a dedicated encoder as well.

Last but not least the two joysticks give you the special feeling of controlling a model aircraft. Fly away…

Faderfox has announced the release of five new 3rd generation controllers.

This probably world’s smallest DJ-controllers are designed for live use on the stage. All Faderfox controllers are professionally manufactured in series in Germany, ensuring high quality. The 3rd generation brings a lot of new features like USB connection, better controls, access to four decks, access to four FX slots and much more.

5 new devices are optimized for a lot of different DJ setups. Everybody should find the right device for each individual setup. There are many possible combinations of micromodul controllers. Start with a single unit and expand to a large controller setup later.

Ableton updates Live to v7.0.2

Ableton Live 7

Ableton has released version 7.0.2 of Live, the complete music solution for Mac OS and Windows.

The update includes:

  • Updated (or corrected) info texts, manual and lesson pack.
