Axis Plugins has announced the release of Track EQ, a precision equalizer effect plug-in for Windows and Mac.
The Track EQ is not another native software simulated tube instrument. We believe that simulating fantastic classic or retro analog hardware will degrade the sound of a whole generation. A software simulated plug-in is not able to cover the sound of an unique classic hardware where every single unit has had its own unique sound because every building part used is an unique real-world-physical-piece with great unique flaws. These flaws imprint. These flaws make the unique sound.
All those software simulations that are available will always and only be able to copy one unique classic or retro hardware unit. So in the end using a hardware simulation plug-in will make everybody using the same unit over and over again. And all uniqueness is gone.
That is why we think buying the classic or retro analog hardware is the choice to do. And after you bought this hardware and have recorded your sound on to the digital domain. That is where the Track EQ comes in. The Track EQ will not color your sound. The Track EQ lets you edit your digital data surgically.
Track EQ features
8 individual filter blocks, up to 16 filter blocks in split mode.
Every filter block can select from up to 11 different filter types.
Full solo and mute for one filter block or a group of filter blocks together.
Automation for all Digital Audio Workstations.
FFT Analysis and Spectrograph Display before or after the processed signal.
Track EQ is available for Windows and Mac (AU/VST/RTAS). A 12-month license is available to purchase for 39 EUR, which includes all current and future plugins.
Voxengo has released version 2.5 of SPAN, a free real-time “fast Fourier transform” audio spectrum analyzer plugin for professional music and audio production applications.
For the most part it was derived from Voxengo GlissEQ dynamic parametric equalizer and reproduces its spectrum analysis functionality.
SPAN provides you with a very flexible “mode” system which you can use to setup your spectrum analyzer preferences. You may specify Fourier block size in samples, FFT window overlap percentage, spectrum’s visual slope. Beside that you can choose to display secondary spectrum of a desired type (e.g. real-time maximum, all-time maximum). Spectrum can be smoothed out visually for an easier examination.
Changes in SPAN v2.5
Crash issue reported in Apple Logic Pro fixed.
If secondary spectrum is active, the delta between primary and secondary spectrums at cursor position is now displayed.
A crash related to UI resizing function fixed.
SPAN for Windows and Mac (VST/AU) is available to download as freeware.
Audio input may be acquired via built-in microphone or external measurement microphone.
Designed with musicians and recording engineers in mind, it can also be used by anyone interested in the world of sound. Ideal for room tuning or speaker tuning, the app enables portable, precision audio measurement and visualization.
Spectrum Analyzer harnesses the computational and graphical power of its host device to provide precision, real-time readouts that are smooth and responsive. It has been designed from the ground up to take full advantage of the newest features and capabilities of iOS 6. It is a completely integrated app – there are no plug-ins or in-app purchases available or required.
Voxengo has updated its Drumformer multiband drum and master track dynamics processing plug-in for Windows and Mac to v1.2.
Drumformer can operate in broadband, 2-band and 3-band modes, with each band having compressor-expander and saturation modules. The sound of the compressor can be defined as “gluey with a ping”, because it instantly creates a “tight and glued together” sound while masterfully emphasizing the transients. The saturation module offers you a choice between six saturation modes, each having a smooth sound and differing harmonic content.
Changes in Drumformer v1.2
Equalizer’s virtual keyboard issue fixed.
A rare crash issue happening in Logic Pro fixed.
Plug-in now works correctly on ProTools via FXpansion VST-RTAS adapter.
Drumformer for Windows and Mac (VST/AU) is $99.95 USD.
Little Endian has updated the SpectrumWorx sound mangler for Windows and Mac to version 2.6.
This version adds frequency range, gain and dry/wet controls to each module separately, all available from the main plug-in window. This addition significantly increases usability and makes the plug-in capable of producing subtle sound effects easier. Both OS versions have been updated with significant performance improvements.
SpectrumWorx 2.6 features
100% Frequency domain operation.
Modular design with five module slots.
Over fifty modules to choose from (freeze, harmonizer, pitch shifter, classic vocoder, wah-wah, whisperer, wobbler, autotune, reverser, etc.).
Sophisticated “time-to-frequency” engine optimized for low CPU usage.
Flexible Preset browser with comment field.
Shipped with over 250 presets.
Free or tempo-synchronised LFOs with phase adjustment and 11 waveforms.
External audio input for inter-sample effects.
Slick and user-friendly GUI.
Detailed User’s Guide.
SpectrumWorx for Windows and Mac (VST) is avaialble to purchase for $119 USD (single platform) / $149 USD (cross-platform).
miniSoftMusik has released version 2.0 of Addvector, an FFT synthesizer instrument for Windows.
With this Synthi and his 8 oscillators it is possible to generate nonspecific waveforms. This waveforms can be morph together with 2 XY-Pads. The possibilities for sound creation are infinit!
Changes in Addvector v2.0
Better resynthesizer function, the samples will be almost 1 to 1 imported.
Many other changes under the hood.
Addvector 2.0 for Windows (VST) is now available to download at no cost.
We decided to make all our stuff freeware and only take donations. This means if you like our work please donate. For the donations we will release new synthesizer or update old one, for any suggestions write us a e-mail. We are happy about every feedback!
