WOK has announced REFO-D, a free delay effect plugin for Windows.
I like plugins that are neatly arranged and easy to use for simple tasks, instead offering 20 panels with 300 knobs
So I will do some of these one-trick-ponies, as my free time allows.
#1: REFO-D, a delay with a reverse-forward output option and a stereo panner.
Also featuring host sync, a filter in the feedback path and distortion.
REFO-D is available to download from WOK’s Facebook page (no like required).

Dark Side of the Tune has launched Sub Phatty Drums, a sound library featuring 43 one-hit samples recorded from Moog Music’s Sub Phatty synthesizer.
The Sub Phatty excels at thickness and warmth, and with the multi-drive and frequency modulation on hand, it takes the classic ladder sound into new territory.
This collection was recorded into a Universal Audio Apollo with Thunderbolt, dry, with no effects, leaving you the raw sound of the synth to compress and smash in your own way.
Sounds are provided in 44.1kHz,16 and 24 bit resolution to accommodate most modern samplers.
Careful thought went into not making this another 808/909 clone library. Don’t we already have enough of those?
The download is free of charge from SoundCloud.

Bronto Scorpio has released version 1.2 of the Dronebox ensemble for Native Instruments Reaktor, offering a bug fix and adding a few new presets.
The main inspiration for this ensemble were those awesome demos of modular synths you often find on the internet. When watching those videos I’m often thinking “Don’t ever turn a knob again! That’s the best sound ever!” *Guy in the video turns a knob* “Wait! That’s even better! Now definitely never turn a knob again!”. I tried to capture this feeling with this ensemble.
The ensemble is a free download for Reaktor 5.8 or higher.
