Samplephonics releases Bongo Tech – Bongo Rhythms by Gary Hammond

Samplephonics Bongo Tech

Samplephonics has announced the release of Bongo Tech, a sample library featuring bongo rhythms in a variety of different styles by percussionist Gary Hammond.

All the loops and samples have been meticulously recorded, processed and finalised in 24 Bit Wav, and come complete with close and room mic options for ultimate flexibility.

There is also a bonus folder of electroacoustically manipulated bongo grooves for house and techno producers looking for something more experimental than straight up percussion loops, using digital processing techniques such as custom designed delays and spectral filtering to create eerie experimental rhythms, perfect for house and techno producers.

The loops have been broken down into 4 popular tempo categories in order to work with a number of genres, including pop/rock/rnb, house/techno and breaks/dubstep. All tempos also contain separate loops and fills, allowing you to mix and match the samples to create new rhythms. 3 different types of bongo drum have been used.

This sample library is available to purchase for £13.70 GBP.

Samplephonics releases Conga & Tumba Loops

Samplephonics Conga & Tumba Loops

Samplephonics has announced the release of Conga & Tumba Loops, the second title in the Utility series of sample packs.

Conga and Tumba Loops is possibly the most useful and versatile sample pack you will ever own. Expertly played by our main percussion man Gary Hammond, all loops and samples are presented separately as a close mic’d stereo file and a room mic stereo file enabling you to easily blend between the two for ultimate flexibility and control over the final sound.

The Tumba or Tumbadora as it is often known is the largest and deepest sounding drum, and the Conga slightly smaller and higher pitched. They originated from Africa but have been adopted by a number of different cultures and musical styles.

We spent a lot of time researching the drums, their history and how they are used in music today in order to create a unique sample pack that can stand the test of time.

Conga & Tumba Loops features

  • 192 MB Conga and Tumba loops in 24 Bit Wav, Apple Loops, and Rex2 formats.
  • The loops and samples are mapped out over 4 tempos of 110 BPM, 120 BPM, 128 BPM and 140 BPM in order to fit in with many contemporary musical styles.
  • All Loops contain a close mic and room mic version, all tempo categories contain main loops and fills/solos.

The sample library is available to purchase for £9.70 GBP.
