HV Synth Design has released a second update of the TrumpetCollection, an acoustic modeled instrument created with SynthMaker.
Changes in TrumpetCollection
- Implementation of an attack engine
The goal of this is to blow with a very bright and loud (explosive) attack, while the sustain can be very soft. In relation to the improved lip tension, this is an important extension. - Improved sounds for all trumpets
But that’s not all: the classical, jazz and and piccolo trumpets now feature 2 different sounding trumpets each, while the jazz trumpet now also has a greatly improved Harmon mute, the classical trumpet a cup mute. The TrumpetCollection now features 8 trumpets + the muted versions.
The demo versions have been updated as well.

- Now includes a second jazz trumpet (JazzXtreme), suitable for Free Jazz like music.
- All trumpets can now over-blow the natural series; C-E-G-Bb-(C), typical for trumpets.
- Improved trumpet sounds: more bass trumpet, more Jazz, more classical, etc.
- Improved attacks.
- Improved note-to-note transitions.
- All trumpets have a knob for an improved sustain instability, also typical for trumpets.

HV Synth Design has released FluteCollection, a collection of an acoustic modeled Bass Flute, C(concert)Flute and Piccolo.
The instruments are based on a unique modeling method, called Eclectic Acoustic Synthesis (EAS), created with SynthMaker.
FluteCollection features
- Very realistic flute sounds,
- Note range: 3 octaves.
- Like real flutes, you can ‘blow’ the models from very soft to very loud with an increment of brightness (the high frequencies become more and more prominent). This is done via modulation wheel or breath controller,
- The C(Concert)Flute can also be played as Jazz Flute, by modifying the bore and adding a lip thrill.
- Low CPU load.

HV Synth Design has released trial versions of Jazz Trumpet & Tenor Trombone, two acoustic modelled instruments.
Jazz Trumpet is part of the TrumpetCollection, which also features a Bass Trumpet, Classical Trumpet, Piccolo Trumpet and Cornet.
The Tenor Trombone is part of the recently released LowBrassCollection, which also features a Bass Trombone, F-Horn and WagnerTuba.
