HyperSynth updates Ion-editor to v2.1

HyperSynth has updated Ion-editor, a software editor for the Alesis ION and Micron analog modeling synthesizers.

Ion-editor offers intuitive user interface and it emulates ion LCD display graphics for parameters that need more descriptive information like envelope curve, filter balance, mod matrix and tracking generator.

Changes in Ion-editor v2.1

  • New registration method that is based on username instead of machine-id.
  • Added readout for all parameters.
  • Added option for disabling graphical readout.
  • Added dedicated zoom level in settings menu with save option (standalone version).
  • Added full-screen button (standalone version).
  • Added “reset to default” for m1 and m2 wheel.

HyperSynth updates Oresus synthesizer plug-in to v1.2

HyperSynth has released an update for Oresus, a virtual synthesizer instrument for Windows.

Oresus is a synthesizer with huge range of tonal possibilities and intuitive user interface, It introduces WSM (wave shape modulation) and complex oscillator to produce new waveshapes from two raw sub oscillators.

  • Increased number of factory presets to 100.
  • Now Acrv and Dcrv in all envelopes respond to “Ctrl + click” for resetting to default.

Hypersynth updates SIDizer SID chip emulation to v1.2

HyperSynth has released an update of SIDizer, a circuit modeled emulation of the legendary SID chip.

SIDizer is a state-of-art emulation of legendary SID chip in a form of a modern software synthesizer. Using circuit modeling technology nearly all unique features of two versions (6581-8580) of SID chip among their famous flaws are accurately modeled.

Changes in SIDizer v1.2

  • Added new modulation source: LFO S/H.
  • Added Loop point option for wavetable sequencer.
  • Fixed crash while changing filter types.
  • Fixed issue with preset manager lock feature that was produced in v1.1.

HyperSynth releases Soundset-01 for SIDizer

HyperSynth has released Soundset-01, a soundset for its SIDizer virtual SID chip synthesizer instrument.

Soundset-01 contains 70 brand new presets programmed by Bryan “Xenos” Lee for Hypersynth SIDizer.

The sounds cover Dubstep, House, Dance, Old School, and Chiptune. All patches are equipped with full modwheel parameter assignments allowing you to modify and tweak the sounds easily.

Presets are available in different formats : FXB, FXP and SIZ. (SIDizer version 1.1 is required for all patches to work perfectly)

The Bryan Lee Soundset-01 for SIDizer is available to purchase for $18 USD.

HyperSynth updates Miniak-editor to v2.0

HyperSynth Miniak-editor

HyperSynth has released version 2.0 of Miniak-editor, a software editor for advanced controlling over the Akai Miniak (analog modeling synthesizer) in your DAW.

Miniak-editor is able to retrieve presets from Miniak memory or load it from hard drive into the editor. You can send a complete program to Miniak via sysex or change any parameter of synthesizer in real time.

  • Added numerical and graphical readout for all envelopes.
  • Now mod matrix can be displayed in front panel using new panel switch.
  • Added intelligent randomizer.
  • Added graphical readout for EX-input balance.
  • Added readout for mod matrix level and offset.

Hypersynth has released SIDizer, a virtual instrument plug-in emulation of the SID chip.

SIDizer is a state-of-art emulation of legendary SID chip in a form of a modern software synthesizer. Using circuit modeling technology nearly all unique features of two versions (6581-8580) of SID chip among their famous flaws are accurately modeled.

This emulation focuses on simulating nonlinear character of SID filter and mimicking special 6581 distortion that mainly influence the alternation of filtered signal in a real SID chip.
