Inear Display updates Bucephal to v1.2 + New Year Sale

Inear Display has updated the Becuphal effect plugin for Windows and Mac to version 1.2.

Bucephal is a sound mangling plugin based on two delay lines designed to be mutated by four modulators freely assignable to the time and feedback.

Inear Display R_Mem

Inear Display has announced the release of R_Mem, a granulator effect plug-in with additional ring-modulator, multimode filter and delay.

It lets you deconstruct the input signal and turn it into a totally different sound, from windy soundscapes to noisy clicks. What makes it special is the addition of a modulation matrix driven by 4 LFOs and of a morphing system that lets you store two states and crossfade between them. For even more radical sound mangling, both state slots can be filled with random values.

The full version also comes with 50 royalty-free samples (24 Bit / 44.1 kHz) : a selection of dark soundscapes and sound effects carefully crafted from a mix of field recordings and digital experiments.

Inear Display has released version 1.1 of SicknDstroy, bringing a multimode pre-filter and a new user interface to the freeware lo-fi effect plug-in for Windows and Mac.

  • 4 processing modes:

    • bitcrusher and samplerate reducer outputs are separated and ringmodulating.
    • samplerate reducer output is subtracted from bitcrusher output.
  • Mix switch to combine the processed signal and the unfiltered part of the input signal.
