Inear Display has announced that its Bucephal, Danaides and SicknDstroy effect plugins are now available in native 32 and 64-bit VST format for Linux.

Inear Display plugins

  • Bucephal is a sound mangling plugin based on two delay lines designed to be mutated by four modulators freely assignable to the time and feedback.
  • Danaides is a sequenced sound mangler with a powerful modulation section.
  • SicknDstroy is a multimode lo-fi effect plugin.

Bucephal and Danaides are 20 EUR each, SicknDstroy is freeware. The plugins are now available for Windows, Mac & Linux (VST/AU).

Inear Display releases Danaides effect plugin

Inear Display has announced Danaides, a sequenced sound mangler with a powerful modulation section.

It gives you the ability to route the input signal through a filter and three sound destruction effect processors : a “driller” that will loop and repitch very small slices of the signal, a “metalizer” delay and a samplerate reducer.

Glitchmachines releases Fragment sound pack

Glitchmachines has announced the release of Fragment, the first installment in a new Macropack sample pack series.

Macropacks are affordable sample packs that feature collaborations with cutting edge software developers and sound designers. Fragment features 300 sound effects by Ivo Ivanov, an exclusive plugin from Inear Display and a custom Lemur template from Antonio Blanca.

The lo-fi character of this sample pack is suitable for projects in need of aggressive, provocative, and mind-bending material. Sourced from a private collection of circuit bent hardware, these samples were skillfully layered and processed to offer a fresh perspective on the sonic range typically associated with bent sounds.

Fragment comes with an artifact buffer effect plugin for Windows and Mac.

Inear Display’s Fragment plugin is a collaborative effort between Thomas Hennebert, Ivo Ivanov, and Antonio Blanca.

It features a granulizer/stutter effect, a multimode filter, and an LFO, and is designed to achieve a wide range of sonic artifacts. Fragment includes a custom Lemur template for iPad, crafted by sound designer and Lemur expert Antonio Blanca, giving you multi-touch control over every parameter.

Inear Display R_Mem morphing granulator effect plugin released

Inear Display has announced the release of R_Mem, a granulator effect plug-in with additional ring-modulator, multimode filter and delay.

It lets you deconstruct the input signal and turn it into a totally different sound, from windy soundscapes to noisy clicks. What makes it special is the addition of a modulation matrix driven by 4 LFOs and of a morphing system that lets you store two states and crossfade between them. For even more radical sound mangling, both state slots can be filled with random values.

The full version also comes with 50 royalty-free samples (24 Bit / 44.1 kHz) : a selection of dark soundscapes and sound effects carefully crafted from a mix of field recordings and digital experiments.

Inear Display has released version 1.1 of SicknDstroy, bringing a multimode pre-filter and a new user interface to the freeware lo-fi effect plug-in for Windows and Mac.

  • Pre Filter with lowpass, highpass and bandpass modes.
  • 4 processing modes:
    • bitcrushing and samplerate reduction are chained (classic mode).
    • bitcrusher and samplerate reducer outputs are separated and mixed together.
    • bitcrusher and samplerate reducer outputs are separated and ringmodulating.
    • samplerate reducer output is subtracted from bitcrusher output.
  • Mix switch to combine the processed signal and the unfiltered part of the input signal.
