K-Devices has announced the release of EXT 2, a Max For Live audio effect designed to modulate anything you want in Ableton Live.
In the last year, EXT became a great success. Many of our customers did amazing things with it, and you are probably one of them.
We worked a lot on new devices this year, and we always thought “hey, how can we improve EXT?”. Well, it’s done!
EXT 2 is a completely redesigned device, starting from the core! Now it is lighter and more CPU friendly, with a bunch of new features: now you can shape each step of the sequencer with a precise envelope editor, it supports different note values like dotted and triplets, it has a swing control, and time variations parameter too. This little monster can do a terrific job in your set!
EXT 2 is available as a free download today only. From November 30th, 2013 CET, it will cost 3.99 EUR.

REF is a great tool for any kind of modulation: kick/bass side-chain combinations, driving filters & experimental uses asking for controlling parameters from an audio source.
K-Devices has released the Rad Envelope Follower (REF), a Max For Live envelope follower with advanced features.
It allows you to modulate anything you want in Ableton Live: other devices, the user interface, and third party plug-ins, using sound as source.
You can shape the incoming audio source with the low/high pass filter, listening the source in peak or rms modes, then design the envelope exactly how you need it, using tools as relative/absolute modes, linear/logarithmic modulation, and positive/negative directions. You can even work on your envelopes with standard EG parameters as attack, hold, release, and a global delay time.
REF for Max For Live is available as a free download until May 31st, 2013 (regular 3.99 EUR).
K-Devices has announced Drumk 2, a Max for Live instrument device for beat-oriented sample manipulation.
Based on a grid and multisliders, drumk 2 is a really powerful and versatile tool: you can use drumk 2 to process drums samples, voices, strings or any kind of source you can imagine. In drumk 2 you can choose to design sound with your hands, meticulously editing each step parameters and playback modes, but you can also using aleatory functions as random buttons, drunkwalk, walker mode, and time variation probabilities.
Drumk 2 stores up to 8 snapshots per preset. This makes drumk 2 an useful instrument in studio as well as during live performance. Recall snapshots on the fly, trigger random functions from your controller, play steps with your MIDI keyboard: you can create and perform your song with tons of variations using a couple of loops and following your inspiration. Slices are triggered in sync with Ableton Live transport or via MIDI note messages.
No external objects are used in drumk 2.
The Drumk 2 library is available to purchase for 24.99 EUR.

Quick and easy target selection.
