kiloHearts has updated its kHs ONE virtual synthesizer instrument to version 1.013.
kHs ONE is a high quality subtractive synth focusing primarily on sound quality and ease of use.
The new release is mostly a bug fix release that adresses a rare bug with registration.
Changes in kHs ONE v1.0.13
- Fixed a problem with registration that could cause instances of kHs ONE act as if they were not registered.
- Added “Initialize Program” command that clears the currently selected program.
- Added “Initialize Bank” command that clears all programs in the current bank.

- Fixed a problem where FXB/FXP files exported by kHs ONE can not be loaded by some DAWs.
- Fixed a performance bug in chorus where it would not stop processing even when silent.
- Fixed an UI bug where the Global LFO Rate knob behaved a bit strangely when the LFO was in Sync mode.

The release focuses on improving the audio quality and UI based on feedback from users. Also, a manual is released, publicly available in HTML and PDF format.

- Shift can now be held for precision dragging of knobs and sliders.
- Envelope attack has been tweaked to allow true instant attack.
- Envelope precision has been improved.
- Filter response has been improved.
- The range of unison detune and spread has been doubled.
- Patch saving/loading is reworked.
- A bug in the waveshaper that in some cases could lead to popping noises has been fixed.
- In some cases the Delay display showed a ms value when 16th is selected, which has been fixed.
