KResearch has released version 1.3.0 of KR-Reverb FS, a free reverb effect plug-in.

KR-Reverb FS is an easy to use Reverb processor based on features found on the Reverberation module of our commercial product KR-Space. KR-Reverb FS is designed for ease of use by adjusting internally the equalization and damping controls to optimal levels for producing a warm reverb sound suitable for a wide range of applications.

KResearch has released KR-Fatter STR, a modular hybrid plug-in processor using two different proprietary time and frequency domain dsp platforms in a single unit.

The frequency domain platform used is Spectral Transformation Resynthesis (STR). STR is a digital signal processing (dsp) platform that operates exclusively in the frequency domain and makes use of specially developed spectral transforms for synthesis and audio effect design. At the same time, KR-Fatter STR is using specially designed time domain processing elements like for example fractal based variance controls. By combining these two platforms in a single unit, new more powerful effects can be achieved by rather using a single platform.

KR-Fatter STR effects

• Generic pitch-shifter, generate pitch related variations of the original audio signal.
• Animated pitch variation, produce animated pitch variations.
• STR color (STR transform filter), design thousands of different spectral color variations of the original input audio spectrum.
• Low frequency oscillator (lfo) modulation, give vibrato effect.
• Phase, add naturally perceived phase related variations.
• Amplifier, add naturally perceived amplitude related variations.
• Shelving equalizer (EQ), use to spectrally balance individual channels and/or the whole mix.
• Delay, use to create delayed copies of the input.
• Panning, use to create imaging effects or expansion.

KResearch has released version 1.2 of KR-Imager STR, a stereo image enhancer audio plug-in with unique processing capabilities.

KR-Imager STR uses a frequency domain engine which divides the signal in hundreds of individual frequency components allowing a very detailed expansion of the input audio signal by means of user selectable algorithms.

KResearch has released version 1.1 of KR-Delay FS, a free delay plug-in for Windows and Mac.

This release of KR-Delay FS comes with many new features like host sync capability for durations from 1/64 to 1/1 plus Triplet and Dot modes, three operating modes Stereo,Link and Ping-Pong, fully independent controls for all parameters in Stereo mode, independent Low Pass / High Pass resonant filters and Panning controls. The graphical display has visual representations of all the parameters of the effect processor for easier preset creation and adjustment.
